The next open republican championship in the field of orienteering sports in Nabran forest strips of Khachmaz region has been summed up. More than 150 athletes representing ministries, departments, organizations and power structures, clubs and federations, sports societies, universities have been fighting for two days. The championship was held with the introduction of electronic registration system. The sports maps used in the international sports standards drawn by well-known foreign experts in the field of sports mapping were used.The winners of the tournament were determined both in team and individual competitions. Neftchi Sports Club won the open championship cup in the team score, while “Daghchilig” team was second, and the Defense Ministry team took the third place.The athletes of our club have won all medals in individual competitions. Vladislav Tuzov won gold, Gennady Klim silver and Maksim Bakholdin bronze medal.Let’s note that the winners will represent our country at the international tournament in Turkey in late October.
