Cadet world
championship in Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina has ended. The
freestyle wrestlers have competed in the last days of the competition. Two of the represented graduates in the national
team of “Neftchi” Sports Club have won bronze medal in the world championship.Fazil Hasanov (58
kg), who won a victory over Israel wrestler Gennadi Benoguev in the first
match, has lost to American Yianni
Diacomihali in the eighth-final. Participating in the repechage matches our
athlete has defeated primarily Kyrgyz wrestler Maksat Talkambaev, then Ukrainian
Dmitri Mikhnyuk. For the sake of bronze medal Hasanov has come face to face
with Russian wrestler Soslan Guchakov and he has won and has taken 3rd place.The club’s other graduate Ahliman Guliyev ( 76 kg) has defeated Egyptian
athlete Mahmoud Ahmed and Hungarian Botond Lucas consistently and he has
reached the quarter-final. At this stage, Ahliman has lost to Russian wrestler
Aslanbek Gvaramiya, has been to repechage
matches by his opponent reached to final.
Faced with the South Africa Republic wrestler Marais Fredilan our
wrestler has won a confident victory. In the fight for the third place Ahliman Guliyev
has won Iranian wrestler Hamed Manafian with full superiority and has won a
bronze medal in the world championship.Note that, in the first
two days our young Greco-Roman wrestler Ulvi Ganizadeh (69 kg) has won a bronze
medal.
