Participating in the
Azerbaijan National Team Staff, “Neftchi” Sports Club’s 6 members have had
place among the medal winners. In 51 kg Chingiz Ahmedzade became the
European Champion by defeating all his opponents. In 75 kg Elmir Suleymanov
only lost in the final round got the silver medal. “Neftchi” Sports Club’s 4
more members Najmaddin Mammadzadeh, Giyas Shahmardanov and Kamran Bayramov, Elvin Süleymanov finished European championship in the 3rdplace. Today, athletes welcome ceremony was held at the Heydar Aliyev airport.
The head coach on kick-boxing of “Neftchi” Sports Club Ehram Majidov said young
athletes’ remarkable wins of European Games was appreciated by the management
of foreign national teams and sports experts. Ehram Majidov has thanked to the
leadership of “Neftchi” Sports Club and Kickboxing Federation of Azerbaijan.
