First Turkic Council University Sports Games were held at the “Sarhadchi” Sport
Complex. Athletes from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey attended
at the two-day tournament.4
judokas of the “Neftchi Sports Club” won medals of the tournament. Ilkin
Babazada (66 kg) and Telman Valiyev (73 kg) took
the first places. Female judokas Shafag Mammadova (52 kg) won a silver medal
and Sakina Zairova (57 kg) won a bronze medal.
