Azerbaijan Boxing Championship ended held at the Republic Boxing Center. About
375 athletes from 50 teams competed in the tournament.Boxers of the
“Neftchi Sports Club” won 6 medals. Elgun Sultanov (57 kg) lost in the final
and took a silver medal. Zabit Aliyev, Ali Iskandarov (48 kg), Ilgar
Tanriverdiyev (52 kg), Umid Ibrahimli (70 kg) and Jokhannes Nuriyev (+91 kg) took
the third places of the country championship.
