The Azerbaijan Pankration, Grappling and MMA Championship have been finished held among the cadets, juniors and seniors. More than 400 athletes have participated in the tournament organized in the Hovsan Olympic Sport Complex.The athletes of “Neftchi Sports Club” have won 36 medals of the country championship ( 11 gold, 14 silver and 11 bronze medals).The pankration fighters of the club Orkhan Askarov (34 kg), Huseyin Orujlu (42 kg), Ibrahim Jafarov (46 kg), Subhan Majidov (58 kg), Hasan Aliyev (59 kg), Gurban Mammadov (62 kg), Abdulla Mammadov (71 kg), Vugar Mamishov (77 kg) and Kamaladdin Valiyev (+77 kg) have won all the matches and become the champions.Hasan Aliyev (59 kg) and Ehtiram Darishov (62 kg) have won gold medals in the grappling competitions.Note that, our pankrationists have taken the first place in the general team score.
