The representatives of “Neftchi Sports Club” have
achieved a great success during nine months of the year. The athletes have
struggled hard and claimed 912 medals (341 gold, 258 silver and 313 bronze).
The representatives of the club have won 5 medals in the Rio Olympic Games (3
silver, 2 bronze) and 8 medals in the Rio Paralympic Games (1 gold, 6 silver, 1
bronze). Our sportsmen have claimed 18 medals (7 gold, 6 silver, 5 bronze) in the
world championships; 88 medals in the European championships (34 gold, 13
silver, 41 bronze) and 193 medals (70 gold, 63 silver, 60 bronze) in the
international tournaments. And our athletes have owned 288 medals (113 gold, 73
silver and 102 bronze) in the republic championships; 192 medals (62 gold, 62
silver, 68 bronze) in the capital championships and 120 medals (54 gold, 32
silver, 34 bronze) in other competitions.
