Our wushu-fighters in the tournament dedicated to the Khojaly genocide

The wuhsu-fighters of "Neftchi” Sports Club have participated in the competition on Shaolin martial art among juniors, teenagers, young athletes and men. In the open championship organized by the "Damir Yumrug” Sport Club 170 athletes within 16 teams have competed the capital and regions.

The graduates of our club have been represented in the race on all age groups and have taken 14 medals in total. The athletes Kanan Aghayev (2005, 28 kg), Rahib Ibrahimov (2002, 35 kg), Miryagub Ahadov (2000, 44 kg), Ismail Zeynalov (2002, 48 kg), Nihad Zeynalov (1999, 60 kg), Anar Karimov (1990, 75 kg) and Polad Kazimov (1999, 80 kg) have mounted the highest step of the podium. And Mahammad Hashimov (2009, 20 kg), Ramal Mammadov (2005, 44 kg), Ali Mammadov (1999, 55 kg), Murad Rustamov (2001, 60 kg) and Alim Kazimov (2001, 65 kg), Nihad Guliyev (2004 30 kg), Ziya Mammadov (2004, 33 kg) have been awarded silver medals.
