Our athlete became a double European champion

At the European wrestling championship in Russia, our wrestlers wrote their names in the history of wrestling with their beautiful and tense struggle.

Haji Aliyev (65 kg), wrestler of the "Neftchi Sports Club”, won the championship without giving any chance to his opponents.

At the first meeting, Haji Aliyev defeated Austria, then Turkey and Serbia, and qualified for the final. In the final, he faced with the well-known Russian wrestler, Bekbulatov. In the tense encounter, the wrestler left behind with a score of 2: 7 and went on to score 8: 7 before six seconds before the end, and was named the European champion for the second time.
