Our wushu-fighters won medals at the World Cup

The World Martial Arts Cup has been summed up, launched on July 28 in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. Athletes from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Iran, Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, India, Turkmenistan and Armenia have competed in the competition.

"Neftchi Sports Club" has been represented by 14 athletes in the tournament. The athletes Ziya Mammadov (in the sanda, 40 kg), Rahib Ibrahimov (kickboxing, 40 kg), Murad Bahramzade (kickboxing, 48 kg), Rashad Gahramanov (kickboxing, 56 kg), Mahammad Musayev (kickboxing, 60 kg), Alim Kazimov (70 kg), Heydar Gasimov (kickboxing, 70 kg) and Rabil Karimov (kickboxing, +91 kilograms) have won all the matches and taken the gold medals. Yashar Bayramov (sanda, 60 kg) and Ali Mammadov (sanda, 56 kg) have taken the third places.

Among cadets, Togrul Dunyamaliyev has won a gold medal (kickboxing, 30 kg) and Khazar Khanmirzayev (kickboxing, 33 kg) has won a silver medal.

Rafet Asadov, the head coach of the team, has won the title of "The Best Coach" in the competition.
