2 more medals in the World Military Wrestling Championship

The 31st World Military Wrestling Championship was ended, held in Skopje, Macedonia.

The wrestlers of "Neftchi Sports Club” won 2 more medals in the world championship. The Greco-Roman wrestlers competed in the last days of the competition. The representative Hasan Aliyev (71 kg) reached to the final without barriers. In the decisive match he won the Russian athlete Adam Kurak and became the world champion. Islam Abbasov (85 kg) also won all competitors and reached to the final. In the fight for first place the wrestler lost to the Russian wrestler Evgeni Sazayev and owned a silver medal.

Remind that, in the first days of the championship the freestyle wrestlers Aghahuseyn Mustafayev (65 kg) had won a gold medal and Ashraf Aliyev (74 kg) had won a bronze medal.

Note that, in this tournament the national team won 9 medals and took the second place in the team score.
